Susan Kay Krewett-Howard, of Safety Harbor, Fla., formerly of Chesterton, died Jan. 25, 2004. She was 42.
She was born April 10, 1961 in Michigan City, the daughter of the late Robert Alois Krewett and Beverly Ann Krewett, who survives in Chesterton.
She is also survived by her children, Brittany Danielle Martinez, 15, and Dexter Ross Martinez, 13; a brother, Robert Alan (Sherry) Krewett or Tulsa Okla.; sisters, Karen Sue (Robert Arthur, Jr.) Harty of Seffner, Fla. And Patricia Ann Krewett of Alexandria, Va.; nephews and nieces, Patrick Krewett of Tulsa, Okla. Jessica Lynn, Molly McGuire and Beverly Harty of Seffner Fla.
She moved to Tampa in 1983. She attended the University of South Florida receiving her Associates degree in 1987, a B.S. degree with a major in finance in 1988, her M.B.A. degree with a major in business administration in 1993. She was a member of the Honor Society and achieved suma cum laude status upon graduation. She provided professional tutoring in economics, finance, accounting, and English, mechanics and writing and GED preparation. She had been a professor at several colleges and technical schools.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
Visitation is scheduled at 12:30 until time of service Tuesday at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater, Fla.
