Phyllis L. Wilding, 87, dies

Phyllis L. Wilding, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Chesterton, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Sun City, Ariz. She was 87.

She ws born Aug. 9, 1917 in Chesterton, the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Hjelm) Stephens, both of whom preceded her in death.

On Sept. 28, 1946 in Michigan City, she married Russell Wilding, who preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1982.

She is survived by a daughter Sheila Wilding of Washington State.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa Marie and a sister, Dorothy Stephens.

Phyllis was a life long resident and was a home maker.

Graveside servies will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Chesterton Cemetery, 300 E. Porter Ave.

There will be no visitation.

Arrangement are under the direction of Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
