Chesterton resident Marie A. Clem, 91 died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1987, at the Chesterton Health Center.

She was born in Chesterton on May 20, 1896 to Frederick and Isabelle (Stephens) Rintz. She married Roscoe M. Clem, who died in May of 1968.

She is survived by sons Durwood (wife Dorothy) and Delbert (wife Velma) and daughters Darlene Hart (husband Carl), Dolly Coppes (husband Carroll), and Beth Schultz, all of Chesterton, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughters Dorothy Wright and Marjorie Schilla.

A funeral service is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with the Rev. Roy Eaton presiding. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m.
