Mrs. Boyle Passes On

Mrs. Elizabeth Brody passed on Sunday at 4 a.m. at the home of her son, Arthur Brody, in Waverly, after a several months' illness with a heart ailment.

She was born on the same farm on Aug. 15, 1865, a daughter of Nicholas and Barbara Ehlin, early settlers of north Porter county. She had lived all her life in the same locality.

In 1886 she was married to Morgan Brody and to this union were born three children, two of whom passed on in infancy.

Her husband John Boyle, whom she married in 1907 passed away in 1928. She was 72 years, 9 months, and 16 days old.

Surviving are her son, two grandchildren, Virginia and Thomas Brody, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Larson of Tampa, Fla. A brother, Frank Stephens of north 49, died just three weeks ago.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Brody home. A Christian Science reader was in charge. Mrs. Edward K. Wait was soloist. Burial was in Chesterton cemetery.
