Dorothy Wright dies Tuesday
Lifelong Chesterton resident Dorothy V. Wright, 315 S. 12 st., died Tuesday at Porter memorial Hospital. She was 66.
She was born May 22, 1916 in Gary to Roscoe and Marie (Rentz) Clem. She married Wilbur Wright, who died in 1961. She was also preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Schilla and her father.
Her survivors include: sons Bob, Larry, and Rick of Chesterton, Jack of LaPorte, and Roscoe of Logansport; daughters Sharon Wright and Diane Krause of Chesterton, Pat Smith of Porter, Shirley Zimmerman of Laughton, Okla., and Janice Miller of Spotsylvania, Va., mother Marie of Portage; brothers Delbert and Durwood Clem of Chesterton; sisters Darlene Hart, Betty Schultz, and Dolly Coppes, all of Chesterton; 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. tomorrow at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home in Chesterton, with the Rev. James Andrews officiating. Friends may call at Edmonds from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City.
