Donald Lee services set
Porter resident Donald B. Lee, 73, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1987 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso.
Born Dec. 3, 1913 in Porter, he was the son of Giles and Maude (Morrical) Lee. On Aug. 31, 1935 in Porter, he married Alta O. Johnson, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Shirley Cline (husband Jerry) of Jackson Township; sons Larry (wife Carolyn) and Donald (wife Sharon), both of Chesterton; sister Lorraine Morzinske (husband Paul) of LaPorte, Delores Keiffer of Michigan City; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Tucker (husband Bill) of Chesterton.
He retired from Inland Steel after 33 years of service. He was a shear operator. He retired from the Duneland Schools after ten years of service as a janitor.
He held memberships in the Westchester Horseshoe League, the Inland Steel 25 Year Club, and St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be sent to the church's building fund at 106E 1100N, Chesterton.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at the church. The Rev. Robert Duncan will preside. Burial will be at Chesterton Cemetery.
Visitation is planned for 4 to 9 p.m. today at the White Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St.., Chesterton. Visitation will be at the church tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the service.
