Lifelong Chesterton resident Anna Dillinger, 78 died yesterday, Sept. 30 at Willows Rehabilitation Center in Valparaiso.
Born Sept. 22, 1907 in Chesterton, the deceased was the daughter of Michael and Mary Ellen (Glen) O'Connor. She married Lawrence Dillinger on July 4, 1936 at St. Patrick's Church here. He died March 7, 1970.
Survivors include son Quentin (wife Gayle) of Porter, brother Patrick O'Connor of New Hall, CA, sister Margaret Gloyeske of Chesterton.
As well as her husband and parents, the deceased was preceded in death by her brother William O'Connor of Chesterton, who died on Sept 27.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's were the deceased was a member. The Rev. Lawrence Heeg will preside.
Burial will be in Chesterton Cemetery. Friends may call at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home here from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the rosary to be said at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to either Meals on Wheels or North Porter County Ambulance Commission.
