This website was developed with the help of many individuals contributing photos, information on various family members, and time sharing stories. The goal I had in mind was to create a website that included Stephens family members. I also wanted to include those individuals who are related by marriage, to a Stephens family member. The result is many family trees with multiple lines. The database includes 1,953 individuals and 652 different family marriages.

In the interest of protecting individual privacy, data for individuals still living has birth date information omitted. If you are an interested family member, that information along with contact information can be provided with the permission of the living person. Please email me for requests.

About me. Ted Stephens, born in 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Porter, Indiana, graduating from Chesterton High School and later Indiana University where I earned a BS in Business and a MBA. Married 17 years to Jeanie Tooker, we have 1 child, Matthew Stephens, plus I have two children, Brenda Stephens and Brian Stephens from a previous marriage. Brenda, in addition to working as a certified tax preparer and substitute teacher is pretty much a full time mom. She is married to Scot Smithee, and he is a captain in the Gilroy, California Police Department. Brenda and Scot have 5 children. Brian and is a web developer at Hitachi Data Systems. He is married to Dianne Sanchez, and she is a nurse at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California. Brian and Dianne have two children.

I am a human resources consultant and work with many companies helping them with various human resources issues. One of these areas is preparing Affirmative Action Plans for various companies. The website, AAPOnline is one of the marketing tools I use to develop business in this area of human resources. Jeanie also works in human resources and is the vice president of human resources at SRI International in Menlo Park, California. Jeanie and I enjoy reading our novels, along with travel to many places. Some of our favorite places are: Paris, Hong Kong, Anguilla, St. Lucia and of course, Indiana. Besides travel and reading, I enjoy World War II history, model railroading and restoring an old Porsche 356 cabriolet.
